# Plans and limits

See how many workspaces, users, collectors and custom domains each Tracix plan includes, its daily telemetry and retention, and how limits work in early access.

Tracix has four plans: Free, Starter, Professional and Enterprise. Every plan includes isolated workspaces, each with its own database. This page lists what each plan includes; prices and usage rates are on [Pricing](https://tracix.io/pricing).

### What each limit counts

| Limit             | What it counts                                                                             |

| Workspaces        | Workspaces in your organization                                                            |
| Users             | Members of your organization                                                               |
| Telemetry per day | Data ingested, averaged per day over the billing period                                    |
| Retention         | How long the plan keeps your data                                                          |
| Collectors        | Tracix Collectors reporting to your workspaces; the console shows your peak for the period |
| Custom domains    | Hostnames of your own attached to your workspaces                                          |

The telemetry allowance is pooled over the billing period: the plan includes its daily amount times the days in the period, so a busy day costs nothing extra when quieter days make up for it.

## How limits work today

* **Plan & usage** in the console shows your usage against these limits. Each meter changes tone past 80% of the limit and again when you go over. See [Billing and usage](https://tracix.io/docs/admin/billing).
* During early access, Tracix doesn't block anything when you reach a limit, and usage above your plan isn't added to invoices.
* If a paid subscription is cancelled, the organization returns to the Free plan.

Plans also differ in features and support; for example, single sign-on is part of Professional and Enterprise. The comparison on [Pricing](https://tracix.io/pricing) lists them all.
