    Plans and limits

2 min read · Updated View as Markdown

Tracix has four plans: Free, Starter, Professional and Enterprise. Every plan includes isolated workspaces, each with its own database. This page lists what each plan includes; prices and usage rates are on Pricing.

    Early-access pricing

During early access, usage above your plan is not invoiced and plan limits, retention included, are not enforced. You also can't start a paid plan or choose yearly billing from the console yet: contact us to move to a paid plan.

    What each limit counts

    LimitWhat it counts
    WorkspacesWorkspaces in your organization
    UsersMembers of your organization
Telemetry per dayData ingested, averaged per day over the billing period
RetentionHow long the plan keeps your data
CollectorsTracix Collectors reporting to your workspaces; the console shows your peak for the period
Custom domainsHostnames of your own attached to your workspaces

The telemetry allowance is pooled over the billing period: the plan includes its daily amount times the days in the period, so a busy day costs nothing extra when quieter days make up for it.

    How limits work today

    • Plan & usage in the console shows your usage against these limits. Each meter changes tone past 80% of the limit and again when you go over. See Billing and usage.
    • During early access, Tracix doesn't block anything when you reach a limit, and usage above your plan isn't added to invoices.
    • If a paid subscription is cancelled, the organization returns to the Free plan.

Plans also differ in features and support; for example, single sign-on is part of Professional and Enterprise. The comparison on Pricing lists them all.
