Our target
We want everyone to be able to use tracix.io, including people who use a keyboard alone, a screen reader, voice control or screen magnification.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This statement covers this website. The Tracix console at cloud.tracix.io is a separate application and is not covered here.
Conformance status
We have not yet completed a full audit against every WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion, including testing with screen readers, so we do not claim full conformance. The checks below run today.
How we test
- Our browser tests check pages with axe, an automated accessibility engine, at a desktop and a phone screen size. A serious or critical violation fails the test.
- The browser tests run in continuous integration for every pull request and every change to the main branch.
- The tests also check keyboard use: the skip link moves focus to the main content, menus open from the keyboard and close with Escape, and form errors move focus to a summary that links to each field.
- Pages are checked for sideways scrolling at phone width.
The design system sets the same rules for every page: text colors meet AA contrast (muted text on the page background measures 5.1:1), interactive elements show a focus outline, and animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
- Some pages linked from the navigation are not published yet. Those links open a page that says so and suggests where to go next.
- Pictures of the Tracix console on marketing pages are drawn in code and described as one image with a text alternative, so their contents cannot be explored item by item.
